We ignite the academic research process with a superhero-inspired blast.

Spark

We joined forces with York University Libraries and local writers and videographers to announce a new tool that assists students with their assignments. SPARK (Student Papers and Academic Research Kit) needed something memorable for its debut, and a campaign was developed with input from students, staff, and the Marketing and Communications division at the University. In postcards, ads and booth displays, York students were transformed into superheroes with a few simple graphic flourishes. The visual theme was carried further in a fun video that tells the super-heroic struggle of students working under a deadline.
